Residual stresses are very important. Not only for for the life of the component. Almost all types of machining and heat treatment will affect the residual stresses. And if the residual stresses are affected in the wrong way, the life of the product will be shorter.
We can offer training and support in the area of residual stresses, Barkhausen, X-ray diffraction, and hole drilling. Both for operators, maintenance personnel, and designers.
